The steering group of the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board (MINAB) extends warmest greetings and best wishes to the entire British Muslim community on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. The board offers its sincere prayers for the acceptance of our fasting and worship.
At its final meeting before Ramadan MINAB’s Steering Committee reviewed and approved several amendments to its [draft] constitution. A spokesperson for MINAB said `Throughout the past year the board conducted a series of consultative workshops across the country on its draft constitution and core standards. That process has been now completed and the final document would be made available to mosques in the coming weeks.’
MINAB’s Steering committee thanks all the imams, mosques administrators and trustees who participated in the consultative process. `Without their constructive engagement and goodwill we would not have been able to deliver on our promises’, said the board’s official.[END]
