MCB to hold 10th Annual General Meeting

The Muslim Council of Britain will hold its 10th Annual General Meeting on Saturday 16 June at the London Muslim Centre in Whitechapel.

The guest speakers this year are HE Mr Ebrahim Rasool, Premier, Provincial Government of the Western Cape, South Africa, who will deliver a presentation on ‘Muslim identity in a multicultural society’, and the Rt Hon Peter Hain MP, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and Secretary of State for Wales.

Other guest speakers on the day will include the General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress, Brendan Barber and Vice President of the National Union of Students, Ama Uzowuru.

The MCB now has over 500 affiliated organisations throughout the country making it the UK’s largest and most diverse Muslim umbrella body.
